The St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental is the diocesan center of the diocese of Kabankalan. Conferred a cathedral status during the late 80's, its first bishop was Rev Vicente Navara, presently the bishop of the diocese of Bacolod.
